Eric Gritter is the vice president of investment strategy at USA Financial. He joined the firm in 2012 and has held various roles within the company before his current position. His primary responsibilities include research and product development for USA Financial’s proprietary investment strategies, as well as investment analysis on third-party investment managers. Eric was instrumental in the design of the Summit Series composite models on the USA Financial Exchange platform and he currently sits on multiple investment committees within the firm.
Eric entered the industry in 2007 as a financial advisor with Edward Jones, serving individual clients in his hometown of Zeeland, Michigan. Prior to financial services, he was a mechanical engineer in the automotive industry. He graduated from Dordt College with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
Eric holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation. He is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of West Michigan. He has also obtained the Series 7 and 66 licenses as well as life, accident, and health insurance in the state of Michigan.
When Eric is not in the office, he has his hands full with his family. He and his wife, Deb, have been married for 14 years and have four kids. He serves his local church as an active member of the cadets youth program and endowment investment committee. In his free time, he loves to play golf and travel with his family. Some of his favorite cities to visit have been Chicago, New York, Toronto (he is a dual citizen), London, Jerusalem, Tokyo, and Augusta (the Masters of course).
